In Oregon, once fall sets in, the rain returns in all of its gray-clad glory. The sun disappears for days on end, leaving the world in a bit of a dullish-gray hue. We start to feel our Vitamin D reserves waning, our desire for sunshine growing by the moment. And yet, there is still beauty, despite the dismal lack of color.
You might think I’m exaggerating, right? The picture in this post is unedited, full color. It’s just that gray here.
Today if you find yourself blessed to be living in an environment with sunshine, count yourself lucky and enjoy a few rays for me, too. In the meantime, I’ll be here hoping my monochromatic world will be able to again welcome the sunshine soon!
A beautiful and creative photo Jaklyn. And as always, the cadence of your words are a pleasure to read.
