After two days of relentless snow here in the Willamette valley, we are now experiencing the added bonus of an ice storm. This statement alone makes me want to sob. Honestly, I’m not a fan of winter weather. I love warmth and sunshine and not needing to wear excessive layers of clothing just to survive a walk to the mailbox. That being said, as much as I’m not a fan of winter weather, there is no denying the beauty it brings. The simplest of structures become the most splendid of sights, when decorated in ice and pristine snow.
