To maintain legal residency in the Pacific Northwest, I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement that I love trees. But even if I’d never given a thought to trees before, never admired them at all, I’m confident that the sight of the rainbow eucalyptus trees in Maui would’ve stopped me in my tracks anyway.

They are that incredible.

So vibrant, so colorful, so almost…otherworldly, I’m so thankful I was able to spend part of my birthday this year admiring them in person.

And now I want to live in a forest surrounded by them.

 

 

 I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, life isn’t complete until you’ve seen one of these magnificent trees in person.
