Perhaps it’s because I’ve lived in Oregon, and part of the requirement for being a citizen in this state is an affinity for trees. Or maybe it’s because I’ve always liked the color green. It could possibly be that I have secret desire to encounter elves (think Lord of the Rings elves, not Santa’s helpers). Or it could be that I hope to meet the ever-illusive Sasquatch. Whatever the reason, I find great delight in the beauty of the forests in Oregon, and I thought you might enjoy a glimpse, as well.
