I came across a quote, a question, from Vincent Van Gogh recently. It stuck with me, pestered me, prodded me, encouraged me…
“What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?”
And as I ruminated on the question, the word courage begged me for its attention. Courage by definition is having the strength of mind and spirit to face difficulties, to be brave, despite danger, pain or fears.
What would life be without courage?
Life without courage would be bland, a life without bravery, fruitless, hopeless, mundane…
Today I plan to face the obstacles that appear in my life, both major and minute, with bravery, reminding myself to embrace courage.
What about you?
Me, too. Glad for this well timed reminder.
I think we all need to be reminded to be courageous from time to time!
So…by definition, courage requires strength…strength…”My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness,…For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (II Cor. 12:9-10) Love you Jakz.
Love you, too, Stacie!
